PPWR update session
We are pleased to invite you to a short online session to provide you with updates on the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) on Wednesday 10 December, at 10:00 AM (CET).
Although the Commission’s guidance document and Q&A have not yet been published, there have been developments regarding the legal interpretation of some issues relevant to the hospitality sector. We understand that EU Member States have been informally invited to provide input to the European Commission on various aspects of legal interpretation.
As outlined in the agenda below, we would welcome your input on the information and enforcement plans you are discussing with national authorities. If you are willing to share national insights that could benefit the group, please feel free to contact Marine Thizon ([email protected]) directly ahead of the meeting.
You will also find below a draft decision tree open for comments, which we intend to submit to the Commission to proactively put forward our interpretation of Annex V.
